Bells and whistles
A fair trade collective called Ochre produces this lovely stoneware range. From Night Owl bells to Kitty Stationery Holders and paperweights...ooh I'm so excited!
Lead free and made ethically, these gorgeous products are to be added to our website over the next few days... The night Owl has already taken centre stage at my desk and I can't wait to hang the Owl bell to the Christmas tree ( not long to go now)

Tin Lanterns
I'm in love with these Recycled Tin Lanterns that have just been added to the Earthtribe range. Quirky and fun, these lanterns are made using recycled Tin which gets rejected pre production because of color variations or misprints. A great use of materials that would otherwise make their way into landfill. Glass enclosure, spot for a tea light and a hanger....I can feel myself relaxing just thinking of it! One of two shapes, they can be purchased at my online shop.

Hand carved Ring
This gorgeous ring is hand carved in wood by skilled craftspeople in Rajasthan. I have just returned from a trip to India where I got to feast my eyes on beautifully crafted things like this.
Not only does handmade support livelihoods, it ensure that traditional ways of doing things are encouraged and cultures are kept alive. A piece of machinery can easily replace this artists dream of making hand carved jewellery ......lets make sure that doesn't happen
Whenever possible, lets support Fair Trade and handmade....
This and many more lovely gifts can be purchased on my website: www.earthtribe.com.au
